Question about renting an apartment in Illinois?
I have a very, very low credit score. HAD I have about 7 apartments over the past 11 years and have never been evicted. I always leave my apartments in excellent condition and I’ve paid my rent on time 98% of the time. I make over 40k and I’m Trying to rent a pretty nice apartment. Honestly what are my chances of getting an apt. That rents for about $ 1000 a month? Oh and my background check will be spotless! What do you think??

Well as a leasing agent in Illinois, I think you have a pretty good chance. Thing is, you will have to test That You Make That much money, here are some different ways you can do that, bring check pay stubs, or last years taxes. 2nd, I think you are going to be fine as long as everything else checks out. The main reason we (apartment complexes) credit check is to test things That you pay on time, and We Also check for the amount of money That You have two collections on to what you make does it balance out? It is not really the score it is the report. The Hope That Helps!
