How difficult is it to become a preschool teacher in Illinois?

I know you have to meet DCFS standards. Is that just a background check or are there other Things That Go Along With It? Thanks

Probably not. The standards for early child care work is pathetic in Most states. I would call you but the State Department of Youth Services or something of the like.

I’m in St. Louis and to be a preschool teacher if you are looking to work in a daycare, you have to pass Probably a police background check and have a clear record with DCFS. If you are looking to get into a private school (Montessori like) you’ll need certification.
