Could you be denied employment for not listing a previous employer?

I Was Offered a job at a warehouse and did not list one of my previous employers. That I Worked at job for about a year and a half. I was not fired and Gave a two week notice before I quit. Will any of this information shows up on a background check? Any help would be Greatly appreciated. I live in Illinois.

I Worked at a job for about 2 months and then I was terminated. That job I did not put on my resume. If a company does a background check on me, this job will show up? I do not know if it matters, but I’m in the state of Illinois. Thanks!

Okay. . so here’s the deal. I Have Been Offered a job That I really want working with mentally disabled people, but They still need to do a background test and drug test. I live in Illinois. I Was Arrested in August of last year for parifinalia (marijuana pipe). I pled guilty, was Granted court supervision However, I know I was not convicted. I have not smoked since then (and Hardly smoked then), I know I will have no problem passing the drug test. My question is, will this show up on the background check since I was not convicted, However I plead guilty and was Arrested? Do you think they’ll give me the job since I will still pass the drug test 100%? Thanks guys, I’m really upset, I feel sick!

I live in cook county Illinois and have had my fingerprints taken as part of a background check for employment and I passed with flying colors yes. I was wondering out of curiousity are they taken after They Are Stored in the police database or are they deleted?

I’m Applying for an FHA loan in Illinois, but the broker informed me that a criminal background check needed to be done to check for a felony charge. . . five years ago I got a misdemeanor. . I’m worried he will find out and I might not qualify for this loan. . Does anyone know specific requirements for an FHA loan? Thanks for any answers

i have a 13 mo old child for 6 months now. Called mother has only ounces. she was indicato with abandonment, abuse, and neglect. child but was never filled with dcfs although They did make us her caretakers and ran background checks and checked out our home. we would really like to Adopt the child but the mother will not relinquish her rights. but does not attempt to take her back either. we are really inlove with her and would like to Adopt her. investigation is close with dcfs homes. I know any one know what I Should do or should i wait longer. how long before it is Considered abandonment in illinois. i need to travel to central america and do not know what to do. help!!

I want to apply for a job with BNSF railroad in Illinois. They are a major railroad company in North America. I Know That the company does require a background check and I am worried That my warrants in Houston, Tx will appear. I Have Several warrants for traffic tickets to failure to appear and For Those traffic tickets. I do not have the money to pay for Them right now but I am planning on paying. I will pass drug tests and background checks job and everything else I just do not want this issue to come up. Rather I would take care of it first and then apply. I Have Heard That Those background checks done by the Generally companies will not reach and wide to However, I have Also Heard That is pretty Extensive BNSF.
